This notion is fundamental because it gives precise indications about the subject's personality. 

But also on the nature of the life path that the subject has chosen to live in order to learn the lessons that are essential to his or her construction, or reconstruction, and possibly on the nature of the mission to be accomplished, if there is one. 

The path of life or path of destiny is immutable from birth to death, and its negative aspects are directly linked to the karma to be assumed by understanding its different aspects. 

Understanding and accepting one's karma enables one to free oneself from it. 

The path of life corresponds to the profound nature of life's circumstances, its hazards, its chances, its opportunities and its challenges, which will present themselves to us to help us acquire experience. These life lessons will help us progress along the path of spiritual awakening, the payment of karmic debts and the fulfilment of our mission. 

There are 3 cycles or sub-paths, enabling the subject to learn different lessons according to age and maturity (see table). 

From 0 to 28, the formative cycle corresponds to the physical, mental and emotional growth of the individual. 

From the age of 28 to 56, the productive cycle concerns the professional and emotional career, with the individual building a life in terms of work and family. 

From the age of 56 to 84 or more, the harvest cycle allows the person who has worked hard to assimilate experience and wisdom. 

Although many people are born on the same day of the month (around 300,000 every day), this parameter is very important because of its influence on the person's life. 

The day of birth, once reduced to a single number, carries a vibration that will have an effect throughout life, particularly during the productive cycle (the second cycle). 

The significance of the number obtained will vary in intensity according to the harmonic considered. 

Challenges are not karmas, they are much less serious, they are just one-off difficulties or obstacles to be resolved, which will enable the subject to move forward on his or her path. 

By its very nature, a challenge is different from karma, because while karma emphasises the need to free oneself by understanding the deep meaning of a fault committed in the past and causing harm to others, a challenge is a 'challenge', a lesson to be integrated, an inadequacy to be remedied, which is not strictly speaking the consequence of the wrong committed. 

The gifts are precious tools, a sort of viaticum brought into the subject's incarnation, which will also help him or her to progress along the path. 

The foundation of life, it represents the main goal of incarnation and defines the work that must be accomplished in this life, whether it's a mission or karmic purification, in a spirit of sharing, mutual aid and compassion. 

This relates to the different objectives of life, on a general level the task to be achieved. Missing out on these small or large missions can affect the overall balance of life and the "unaccomplished" or "left undone" can be the subject of challenges in a future life. 

As long as this achievement is not taken on board and understood, the individual may be faced with many difficulties on a daily basis, right up to the end of his or her life if necessary. 

Hence the importance of taking this parameter into account when analysing a numerological theme. 

Some numerologists refer to the vibration of the year of birth as an achievement, which is a mistake and a source of confusion on a subject that is already very tricky to understand. The apogee or realisation are both periods, spaces of time lasting several years, that accompany the path of life and its cycles, but during which high points dominate the vital path, either occasionally or more extensively. The vibration of the climax may in fact most often be a general mood for the whole period, and the vibration of the climax number then presents itself as an opportunity for the subject to make the most of the harmonious power of this vibration. 

It's important not to ignore them, as they offer great prospects for accelerated evolution. 

They therefore correspond to evolutionary phases and are accompanied by changes which, in the best of cases, mark a spiritual evolution. If they are well understood, they will enable the subject to move forward on the path to liberation from suffering. 

Like the challenge of the day of birth, the minor challenges and the major challenge of life must not be confused with karma, which is a debt to be assumed, the manifestation of an unlearned lesson that led the subject to commit actions harmful to others in previous lives. 

Less serious than karmas, challenges correspond to imperfections that need to be corrected, ignorances that need to be erased, gaps that need to be filled. 

These challenges are messages that the subject sends to himself from his previous life to his present life, and taking them into consideration will help him to move forward more quickly on the road to awakening. 

There are three challenges to consider, two minor ones and one major one. 

This number tells us where we are in the cycle and is a valuable indication of our life options. 

I remain convinced that knowing the vibration of our current personal year is of vital importance in optimising our life choices, over the long term and year after year. 

For Westerners steeped in Judeo-Christian traditions, in which guilt and especially guilt-tripping play a major role - mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa - karma is the just punishment for wrongdoing, a punishment inflicted on the sinner by implacable divine justice. 

For Buddhists, every action (karma means 'action' in Sanskrit) generates a reaction, a trace recorded in the subject's life, positive for a just action, negative for an unjust one. 

Karma is not a punishment, because those who act badly do so because they have not understood the evil nature of their action. 

Tibetan Karmic Numerology is very useful for helping all subjects, whether they are materialistic or involved in a spiritual approach, in the latter case it will find its full expression to help them progress more rapidly on the path to Awakening. 

Unlike other parameters, which are acquired at birth, the spiritual plan number tells us what our reward will be if we work well throughout our lives, if we keep our promises, if we make the best use of all our potential. 

This can indicate carelessness or procrastination on the part of someone who has let time slip away.
