What is Tibetan Karmic Numerology?

More than a simple calculation of numbers, Karmic Buddhist numerology is a profound method of self-discovery and transformation.
It draws from Buddhist teachings on karma, reincarnation, and the interconnectedness of all life.

Unlike Western numerology, which focuses mainly on personality traits and destiny, the Buddhist approach goes deeper — exploring your karmic lessons, hidden talents, spiritual debts, and your life's sacred purpose.

Each number acts like a mirror, reflecting lessons carried over from previous lives and opportunities for growth in this one.

In short:
Karmic numerology is not just about understanding who you are — it is about awakening to who you are meant to become.

26 PARAMETERS TO BE CALCULATED WITH BIRTH DATES AND NAMES

HERE IS A FEW OF THEM

PERSONAL YEAR

This number tells us where we are in the cycle and is a valuable indication of our life options.

The vibration of our current personal year is of vital importance in optimising our life choices, over the long term and year after year.

KARMA

For Buddhists, every action (karma means 'action' in Sanskrit) generates a reaction, a trace recorded in the subject's life, positive for a just action, negative for an unjust one.

Karma is not a punishment, because those who act badly do so because they have not understood the evil nature of their action.

LIFE'S CHALLENGES

These challenges are messages that the subject sends to himself from his previous life to his present life, and taking them into consideration will help him to move forward more quickly on the road to awakening.

There are three challenges to consider, two minor ones and one major one.

INTIMATE SELF

Numerologists also call it the buried being, the hidden self, the secret garden, something important to do, an ancient karma to purify, a missed opportunity in the other life, an occult inner force that drives our dreams, our ideals that sometimes will never manifest themselves in our daily lives, a mission freely accepted, whatever it may be, something essential that if not accomplished will leave a bitter taste of failure, frustration, betrayal.

THE CHALLENGE OF THE INNER SELF

It represents a priority, something that must not be missed or neglected. It's not karma, but if we don't give it the attention it deserves, it can become karma in the future.

VIBRATION OF THE YEAR OF BIRTH

The foundation of life, it represents the main goal of incarnation and defines the work that must be accomplished in this life, whether it's a mission or karmic purification, in a spirit of sharing, mutual aid and compassion.

THE FOUR APOGEES

The apogee or realisation are both periods, spaces of time lasting several years, that accompany the path of life and its cycles, but during which high points dominate the vital path, either occasionally or more extensively. The vibration of the climax may in fact most often be a general mood for the whole period, and the vibration of the climax number then presents itself as an opportunity for the subject to make the most of the harmonious power of this vibration.

It's important not to ignore them, as they offer great prospects for accelerated evolution.

SPIRITUAL PLAN

Tibetan Karmic Numerology is very useful for helping all subjects, whether they are materialistic or involved in a spiritual approach, in the latter case it will find its full expression to help them progress more rapidly on the path to Awakening.

Unlike other parameters, which are acquired at birth, the spiritual plan number tells us what our reward will be if we work well throughout our lives, if we keep our promises, if we make the best use of all our potential.

ELEVATE

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING & INNER AWARENESS

As soon as we become aware of our spiritual nature, we begin to see that the events in our lives reflect our inner world.

We realise that what happens to us is often the result of our own projections — whether conscious or unconscious.

Some speak of the power of intention; in the Tibetan tradition, we speak of Karma.

By understanding our inner landscape, we grow spiritually, uncover deeper meaning in our lives, and gain clarity to make wiser choices.

This is the essence of Tibetan Karmic Numerology.

UNDERSTAND

FINDING YOUR PATH

Whether it's in your professional life, personal relationships, or spiritual journey, discovering your true path and reaching your full potential can feel challenging.

This is especially true for those who feel called to make a positive impact in the world.

By blending the ancient wisdom of Tibetan spirituality with the insights of karmic numerology, Tibetan Karmic Numerology offers a powerful tool to find clarity and meaningful answers along the way.

PURIFY

FREE YOURSELF FROM KARMAS

In the West, karma is often misunderstood—seen as something purely negative, or as a kind of punishment.

But in Tibetan Buddhism, karma is far more nuanced and profound.

Every action we take leaves an imprint on our mind. These imprints shape our future experiences and influence how we reincarnate. Karma is not about reward or punishment — it's about cause and effect, where our past, present, and future are deeply interconnected.

Tibetan teachings remind us that karma is not fixed. Through awareness, meditation, and spiritual practice, we can transform negative patterns and purify karmic imprints. In doing so, we create the conditions for spiritual growth and inner freedom.

Tibetan Karmic Numerology is a powerful tool for recognising the karmas that shape your life — and for understanding where they come from, so you can begin to release them.

THE TIBETAN BUDDHISM LEGACY

Tibetan Karmic Numerology is rooted in the Tibetan Buddhist understanding of reincarnation — the idea that all sentient beings journey from one life to the next, learning essential lessons along the way.

Even if you don’t personally believe in reincarnation, this ancient wisdom still offers valuable insights. It can help you better understand your inner nature and shine a light on aspects of your personality that may be hidden or unexplored.

To truly benefit from Tibetan Karmic Numerology, we must be willing to face our imperfections with honesty and humility. It calls us to a path of deep introspection, without denial — and with a sincere desire for growth.

This is what Buddhists call Bodhicitta — a Sanskrit word that means “the way of the heart”.

It is the path of compassion, wisdom, and spiritual awakening.
